Change management operations are organised using change request sessions.
Important Note: Make sure you test this process in a DEV environment first, and you are confident with Configuration Manager usage, before bootstraping LIVE or QA environments.
In order to start a Change Request, follow these steps:
1) Enter the following command: open --source <source_name>--target <target_name>. This creates a new Change Request with the changerequest.yml file in a new folder.
2) The Change Request is then created.
3) To switch environments or load an existing Change Request, you can simply use the open --cr <cr_name> command.
A change request will contain the list of changes (e.g. add, delete, update) used in a session and ready to use in a commit.
