Using the Metamarkets Facet View
Facet View Interface Overview
Facet is typically used more as a report builder. It provides a table view where you can see rows of dimension data displayed against your metric columns. You can customise your reporting tables by adding new dimensions per split bars and by drilling into these dimensions using the expand/collapse feature. All facet views provide custom time comparison options so you can view and compare your data over longer and shorter intervals. The interface looks the same for Auctions and Bids view. The dashboard defaults to preset dates, showing you the past week of data.
This is the default look of the Facet view interface. As soon as you add the first split bar, the report layout changes to a table. The functionalities available in the report tables are also explained below.

1 | Schedule reports | Only available in Facet view. Schedule a report for yourself or others to be delivered by email on a recurring basis; daily, weekly, or monthly. |

4 | Time zone picker | Select the time zone. |
5 | Filter | Click and select (or search for) any of the dimensions in the
list to filter on and customise the report data. When selecting a
dimension, you can either:
For example, to see data related to a specific DSP, select the "DSP Name" dimension and include only the desired DSP. This filters out all other DSPs. |
6 | Split by | Add dimensions per split bars. This enables you to drill into
these dimensions using the expand/collapse feature and see the
absolute change and percent change fields, provided you are in
comparison mode. You can add up to five split bars. As soon as
you add the first split, the report layout changes to a table.

7 | Key performance metrics chart | Chart displaying data based on the selected report time frame and
metrics. You can:

8 | Metrics picker | Select the desired metrics to customise the fields in the key
performance metrics chart or report table. When adding metrics to
report tables, you can also sort by ascending or descending by
clicking on the metric name. For more information on the available metrics, refer to Metamarkets Dimensions and Metrics. |

Report Examples
Example: Ad Ops campaign troubleshooting
- Choose a period, for example yesterday and compare it to previous day.
- Filter by "DSP Name" and exclude direct campaign.
- Split the data by "Marketplace Name", "Deal Names", "Seat Name", "Adomain (Winning Bid)", and "VAST Error".
- Add relevant metrics, such as "Bids", "Wins", and "Impressions".
- Block the URLs that are causing the drop off.
- Contact the DSP to block or notify the buyer seats that are doing this.
- Modify the passback timeout settings in the case of ads timing out.

Example: Errors by advertisers and DSPs
- Choose a period, for example past 7 days and compare it to previous 7 days.
- Filter by "DSP Name" and exclude direct campaign.
- Split the data by "DSP" Name, "Campaign Name" or "Adomain (Winning Bid)", and "VAST Error".
- Add relevant metrics, such as "Bids" and "Impressions".

Example: Sales team analysis of buyer performance
- Choose a period, for example month to date and compare it to last month.
- Filter by "DSP Name" and exclude direct campaign.
- Split the data by "Category Name", "Seat Name", and "VAST Error".
- Add relevant metrics, such as "Bids", "Wins", and "Impressions".

Example: Compare revenue over past 7 days
- Choose a period, for example past 7 days and compare it to previous 7 days.
- Filter by "DSP Name" and exclude direct campaign.
- Split the data by "DSP Name" and "Adomain (Winning Bid)".
- Add relevant metrics, such as "Auctions", "Bid Responses", "Impressions", "Revenue", and "Avg Winning Bid".

Example: Check detailed performance of your international marketplace
- Choose a custom period, for example last 14 days.
- Filter by "DSP Name" and exclude direct campaign.
- Split the data by "Country Name", "DSP Name", "Seat Bidder", "Seat Name", and "Adomain".
- Add relevant metrics, such as "Bids", "Wins", "Impressions", "Average Bid Price", and "Avg Winning Bid".
