Updates include performance improvements in HTTP streaming, Adobe Pass for native apps, support for new video codecs and support for new audio codecs.

The following are release items:

  • Performance improvements in HTTP streaming—performance improvements were made for HTTP Dynamic Streaming (HDS) in Flash. This is an automatic change and does not require any action on your part.
  • Adobe Pass for Native Apps—following our release of Adobe Pass, a solution for authentication and authorization of premium broadcast content, this release extends Adobe Pass to native iPad, iPhone and Android apps. For more information, contact Sales, your Customer Success Manager, or Technical Support.
  • Support for new video codecs—we now support Apple ProRes and MSS2 video codecs. This is an automatic change and does not require any action on your part.
  • Support for new audio codecs—we now support WMA Pro, WMA Lossless and WMA Voice audio codecs. This is an automatic change and does not require any action on your part.
