Deleting DRM Policies

You can quickly and easily remove DRM policies from an asset or your account.

To delete a DRM policy from an asset:

Note: If you want to replace an asset's DRM policy, simply assign a new policy to the asset.
  1. Remove the DRM policy from an asset. For example:
    [DELETE]/v2/assets/IzNnllMjphu2XF3_UgPROoCi9B2rtWs/drm_policy

    Backlot returns a 200 response.

    Note:

  2. If you want to make a DRM policy the default for your account, you can assign the policy at the account level. For example:
    [DELETE]/v2/provider_drm_policy

    Backlot returns a 200 response.
